About the work
Inspired by a dream in which the artist dove into water and surfaced in another world, Through the Pond unfolds through a landscape of split selves, enchanted healing goblets, stabbed bodies, and flickering fire, all bathed in a pastel daylight moon. Like much of Flora Dvora’s work, the piece is guided by the logic of dreams, where transformation, symbolism, and fragmented narratives reveal an inner mythology shaped by intuition and emotion.
